From 1 January 2017, Pauwels has been the main sponsor of the new Pauwels Sauzen-Vastgoedservice cyclocross team. Pauwels has decided to set up a cyclocross team under its own name to make the name even better known in the hospitality and catering sector. Cyclocross is a very popular sport in Flanders, and throughout Belgium, that gets a great deal of media coverage.
